Great song and so appropriate! I don't know why singers try to top definitive versions of great renditions of songs! This is the best, as is anything that Ella lent her name to! (I didn't take this shot....I borrowed it!) From Connecticut:

Hot damn! ... I thought we have a companion "Baby it's HOT outside" but I couldn't find it. Heehee... I recall a cartoon drawing Tommy posted with a fan and a guy about to croak with sweat pouring off him.
ANYway, what are youse folks on the east coast doing to produce so much heat? While I sit here in my bearcave shivering (the high here today was 59 and I only got it up to 66 inside,) I keep seeing the news that the east coast is ROASTING. I'm too cheap to turn the furnace up so, if you would kindly send me some free heat, I would appreciate it! Tomorrow, the HIGH temp is forecast at 57.

To all of our members: Please be aware of the dangerously cold weather that is currently overtaking the USA and Canada. Take all of the precautions that your local news media are advising. This is no joke. Unfortunately, this could be a reality. Stay safe, warm, healthy and keep posting!

BluePride, WTH? You let it go an get COLD again? And what's all this piled-up white frozen crap outside? To keep 'em warm, I've had to put a blanket over the cookies in the display case in the BluePride Break Room!

I've been controlling myself, but, all the Polar Vortex cold stuff has hurt us too. We only went to 59F for a high today.

I hope everyone in the path of these latest storms are safe and sound. Amazing that there is such severe weather in places that are usually never affected by snow and ice. Stay safe.

Amazing! We had our cold spell, -20c to -30 for a week. In the olde days that would have been -30 to -40. Global warming is a fact. The storms in US are a result of it being warmer in places it's not supposed to be. I used to live in Plymouth, England - they are getting their second hurricane like North Atlantic storm in a week, they normally get one every 50 years. It's getting weird.

AHEM... all you men and women of BluePride in the NorthEast know that the rest of us love you, don't you?
What's with this wave after wave of ice, snow, bitter COLD that you keep letting sneak in? You don't have to do that to get attention, ya know. Holy Crap, I see on the weather report that you have yet ANOTHER bitter-cold wave headed your way.
Hot Fudge-filled chocolate cupcakes being served in the BluePride break room!
