L-R: Steve (Burner's better half), Tommy (Almighty Ruler/BluePride), Dale (HCSODale), Russ (Dale's better half), and Frank (Burner) (can't remember the joke on this one, but it definitely looks alcohol fueled!) We had a great evening! Burner picked this restaurant (Mexico Lindo) out from his memory bank and what do you know, it was really good! We got there a little after 7PM (to find Tommy working(?) the corner while he waited for us to arrive) and we didn't leave until we closed the place a little after 10PM. There was no lack of conversation or mutually picking on each other! Wish I could afford to do this more often, but NYC is a bit of a commute from Tampa.

Nice photos! (Except for me!) Thanks to our waiter who did the honors of being the official photographer for the evening!! Not to be redundant but we had a very nice time! Lots of laughs, good food and good company. I hope we do it again soon!! And yes, I was working those streets!!

Yeah, he was working the streets, but at 10 cents a throw it didn't cover the parking meter. ;D But seriously, folks.... ... it was a great time and a repeat cannot come too soon. We can always do with a dose of that great Florida sunshine that follows our friends Dale and Russ.

<<Yeah, he was working the streets, but at 10 cents a throw it didn't cover the parking meter>>
Well, true, except it wasn't 10 cents. It was 5. With the economy the way it is, one must offer discounts to make any money!! But what I lacked in money, I made up for in quality servix!!!

I'm not tall, slender and heart-poundingly handsome like Burner, but... hopefully someday I can put on my Ballroom Jeans, borrow Blu's Vegas Headdress and join in on one of these dinners! The video would be an HBO hit "fur sure!" (Bear wags his tail...) Bear _______________

I don't know if it can actually be called a gathering of BP'ers as such. There were 2 BP'ers, 1 prodigal BP'er and 3 non-BP'ers! I like to think of it as my elderly friends taking me out to dinner. (I was the youngest one there, as usual) It was, truthfully, a dinner to remember our friend Dick W who passed away last year. And I think my toast to him went over well, if a little misunderstood. I mean, I yelled out, "Here's to Dick"! Plates and glasses dropped all over the restaurant and a bunch of ladies got up and left in a huff. (Actually a minute and a huff - Sorry, Groucho Marx, I had to say it.) It was actually a lot of fun. Good food, good friends and a lot of laughs. And now I have a name for my eventual autobiography, thanks to Steve, who is Frank's other half. The title? "Blue And Blown".

Russ and I took a quick trip to Texas this last week, to visit friends in Dallas and then we all spent Cinco de Mayo in San Antonio. I would have been remiss if I had not tracked down Blu06 (Mac) and got to meet him in person. I have to say thank you to Mac for the suggestions and guidance for us while we were in San Antonio. We met up with him on Friday the 4th, walked some of the city and had dinner at a local (very popular, by the wait time crowd) restaurant. After a few Margaritas and a lot of conversation, we headed back in time to find the buses were stopping their routes. Mac sweet talked one driver into getting us back to our hotel, though the bus already had posted "Out of Service" and the driver didn't even charge Russ and I or our two friends who were also there (Mac never said if some later to be worked out agreement had been propositioned..... ) Then Sunday, Mac drove Russ and I around the City and we had some more drinks and lunch at the Tower of the Americas, sitting in a revolving restaurant. Mac, who is obviously very proud of San Antonio, gave us a birds eye tour of the city as we revolved above. He was a wonderful host and a pleasure to meet. No lack of conversation from anyone. I do declare! The gentlemen from Florida were the most pleasant of men and afforded this lone public servant the most pleasing and lovely weekend. As it came, the gentlemen from Florida were accompanied by the most charming and attractive couple from the Big D. HCSODale being quite the handsome gentleman ;D gives a striking presence in his physicality, his graciousness, and astute acquaintance. Now, for all those reading, HCSODale's husband, Russ, is of the red hirsute persuasion that caught the eye of their humble host. ;D My Texas propriety prevented me from divulging to my guests, my past that included luring able bodied red hirsute gents into positions of unspeakable postures. In which I would commences to dispense a mixture of uncontrollable masculine wrath and…. Oh I do digress!!! My, My, allow me a second to lower the thermostat. I did revealed a certain adventure I had in the very hotel they were lodgers, but again, a gentleman in polite society simply does not reveal such indiscretions. It’s simply not acceptable. Though, my instinctive Texas and my acquired police sensibilities consent the belief that my gentlemanly guests from Florida would so enthusiastically approved of my past exploits. Alas, I instead ordered the Chicken Frances and Sweet Tea and spoke of more polite and sociably accepted topics of which I think was more palatable with our fare. HCSODale and Russ are generous, delightful, and charming men in the extreme. While it may be them who were the guests; it was I who received the delightful experience. Both of them made me feel at ease, allowing me to overcome my excessive nervousness. The weekend passed too quickly. It’s been raining ever since they left (literally), (ok, the upper level low passing through is probably responsible for that one.), but you get the point. Thank you for brightening my weekend, , my friends. Until next time. Mac

You are Sweet Tea and Texas Dessert and hotter' 'n' Dallas in August! I might even have to temporarily suspend my secret long-distance affair with Burner. (Sigh,) I hope the cookie jar in the BluePride Break Room still has some treats left. I'm TOO HOT to bake today! Pant Pant, Ursus in Heet ________________

Gentlemen, Gentlemen! Whatever do you mean? In such that down here in Texas, I am considered a former pretty boy who ate too much ice-cream at his sweet sixteen and from all accounts, kept eating... I am just not accustom to such attention lavished upon my humble civil servant sensibilities. Be me naked or otherwise! (Get it, The Naked Civil Servant) Ha! I am willing to admit to dabbing a bit more Oil of Olay and a dab pinch more of my Ponds night-cream in preparation of my gentlemen friends from Florida and the Big D. But, alas, the rest is just little ole moi ...well, I guess there's a bit more me than little these days... Thank you for the compliments, you are too kind to me. ;D Please...!!!! More...Please!!!! Mac
