I am a member of another law enforcement site that has a totally separate area for verified law enforcement only. I think that would be a neat feature of blue pride. I'm not sure if the ability is there or not, just tossing it out as a suggestion.

We might could have an open room on the site for glbt folks to interact with us and ask legitimate questions.....not to be tacky and express their "ultimate pleasures".

Also, would donations to help with the costs of hosting and maintaining blue pride be welcome, admin?

Thanks for opening up this door for me. After almost three years here, it's apparent that we have a pretty decent compliance rate as far as keeping non-leo's off the board. Not 100% by any means although I've tried my best. There are always going to be some that slip through. I'm limited in what I can do to keep everyone who doesn't qualify, out.

As far as contributing, etc..... This whole topic needs to have it's own thread because it's legitimate subject that should be addressed. I'm not looking to make money off this site and actually the way things are now with the hosts, I'm not allowed to. Unless we go ad-free. Even then, I'm a bit hand cuffed. Anyway, to keep this thread on-topic, dealing with introductions of new members, I'll be starting a thread dedicated to possible improvements to the site which I've been keeping bottled up inside me for some time. But, thanks for the willingness to make contributions even if they're not allowed at this time.

I think that membership in Bluepride should be restricted to GLBT criminal justice professionals only. True, there are some long established, well deserving exceptions to this rule. They are the people who have consistently distinguished themselves in constantly working with us to meet our goals. They are the ones who have always stood with us and helped us in many ways too numerous to mention here. They are the ones who have been with us, in the struggle, since the very beginning. They deserve a special place in Bluepride and we all know who they are.
Just because someone says they like gay cops, or they want to experience an untimate pleasure, or they like uniforms, or they think we're hot has no meaning at all. We are a professional site where we share information, thoughts and ideas, and have a few laughs. Bluepride is not a pickup site for gay men. There are many sites, on the computer, where they can find all the men they want. Bluepride is not the place for them to look.
If we don't watch out, Bluepride will turn into one of those.....

Let's keep Bluepride GLBT criminal justice professionals, and long term established advocates only
