Hey Dan, welcome! Don't take too much of what goes on here too seriously. It's a pretty happy go lucky group. But when you need like minded folks to be serious with, you'll find them here too.

Hey Burner. How's your honey doing? Last time I spoke to you, you said he was havig some health problems. Is everything OK now? Please give him my regards. He's doing fine, Carroll. Thanks for asking. Doc never did find out what's wrong, but trial-and-error meds did the trick, and that's what counts.

Welcome to the board centurian, yeah you're right its gotten kinda quiet here lately. If you feel comfortable tell us more about yourself. As for me Im just a lowly corrections officer here in Tennessee. Look around the board and just jump in and start conversing.

Hi, doesn't seem like there is a lot of activity here but I wanted to post myself. State Lt., NY working in Manhattan! Thanks for the airtime! Welcome aboard centurion!
Postings on here can appear in moderate waves, subside for a bit, and then swell to tsunami proportion. Serious topics, events and, as you may have gathered, a hefty amount of good-hearted banter is present and always welcome. All said, it's an admirable and much appreciated "cyber hub" without the usual trappings, and its growing strong - thanks to its eagle eyed creator! So centurion ... hope you'll visit often, and maybe add to the postings ?!

Welcome Centurian. There's a lot of kidding around, but it's a good group. Some of us have gotten to meet off-line, in person, so some of the jokes are inside, but we're there for each other when you need to be serious.
