Happy Anniversary BLUEPRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course the credit is all to you Tommy. It was your brainchild and a lot of your time (and money) creating and maintaining this board. I have enjoyed being a part of it. I came into this board in 2006, and I really cannot believe that it has been that long. I feel like a youngster on the board and not exactly one of the heavy hitters as far as keeping up with topics. I have though, met several people through this forum that I have come to respect and appreciate for their opinions and interactions; just another reason to express my thanks to you!

OMG... EIGHT YEARS?!!! Truly extraordinary! What I enjoy so much about our BluePride forum is the diversity of our LEO and CJ and Firefighter/Support personnel, both men and women, and the variety of topics. We are allowed to have FUN but this is not a "joke" site. We can giggle, cry, swell with pride ( BLUE Pride!) of whatever color uniform. We can grieve, hold hands, celebrate our advances and even share a recipe... all with the understanding of our diverse commonalities. THREE CHEERS and a "For he's a Jolly Good..." to Tommy. I know, I know... I didn't finish it. I'm thinking. Heehee... Tommy is KNOWN for his BIG GRIN and sly sense of humor! Seriously, I would like to suggest our BluePride board is a combination of diverse elements, an amalgam of strength, reputation, and commitment to ethical principles as represented in the Gay Pride flag: red: stands for courage; orange: offers the vision of possibilities; yellow: represents the challenge that GREEN has kindled; green: indicates a challenge to co-operators to strive for growth of membership and of understanding of the aims and values of co-operation; sky blue: suggests far horizons, the need to provide education and help less fortunate people and strive toward unity. dark blue: suggests pessimism: a reminder that less fortunate people have needs that may be met through the benefits of cooperation. violet: is the color of warmth, beauty, and friendship. Love and Respect for all, Bear ____________________________.
