Thank you, and thank you admin for the stomboli lunch yesterday.
Also, flblue, ah you have no idea how on the mark you are about those cuffs, but that would be during off duty hours, using a pair I got several years ago from Wally Wallace before he died.
You have to have been a New Yorker in the scene back in the 70s and 80s and prehaps a regular at the now defunct Mineshaft, or a member of Excelsior MC which he helped found about 30 years ago to know who Wally was. But, there may be a few of you in this group who get it.

About Wally, or that a young person such as myself would have known him and known about him?

About Wally, or that a young person such as myself would have known him and known about him? About all of it ... but specifically, your proclivities.

Hey, a guy has to have a little fun! And I'm good at it. Always willing to teach those interested and brave enough to try.

I remember that guy Wally from a long time ago. I didn't know him personally or, (God-forbid) in the biblical sense! But I DO remember the Mineshaft!! I know...I'm dating myself....but I had my share of fun there. So did people like Calvin Klein, Prince Egon Von Furstenburg and various celebrities from stage and screen. I also remember one guy that I used to see there almost every week was murdered by someone he apparently picked up at the MS. They found him dead in his apartment after being whacked in the head with a frying pan. No joke. The place was innundated with detectives after that and I think they eventually found the murderer. I actually remember the victim's name. There were a couple of instances where they would be closing up for the night (actually about 11AM or thereabouts...) and they'd turn up the lights and find older guys sitting around. They'd passed away during their night at the Mineshaft!!! You can't make this stuff up!! But like I say, I had my share of F-U-N there!!!! There'll never be another place like it!!!

Future generations will never kbnow what they missed, and probably won't believe the MS was real and about twice as raunchy as any backroom in Europe these days.
