OUR 11th ANNIVERSARY...B'DAY...Whatever you want to call it!

Well, here I am....finally doing some posting again! Yes, I've been lazy...there's no other way to put it! It's our 11th Anniversary and we're still here! Admittedly, almost running on fumes! Mea culpa! I should post more but lately, while BP is still an important site, it's hard for me to work up the enthusiasm that I once had. Getting older, being retired and more removed from some things, it's a lot of effort! Part of my laziness comes from some of the things I posted last year at this time as well. Our community is a train wreck these days. It's embarrassing to me. But it is what it is. I live in the world of stone cold reality unlike some people I know! But...I'm not going to go into a lot of bitching and moaning! I'll try to post more but our members should too. Some of the events of the last year or more have been overwhelming to me.....the real war on cops... the rise of disgusting groups like BLM, etc. Sometimes I just deal with things in my own way, not posting about it. Not sure if that's good or bad.

One thing that I will bring up is membership, specifically registration for the site. I've rejected some potential members simply for the fact that they provide totally insufficient information to properly vet them. Maybe I let some good potential members slip thru my fingers but...if I'm given insufficient information, they're not getting in. Simple as that. We may be really slow lately but I'm still protecting our site and it's membership. If you ain't LE, you ain't getting in, as much as I can prevent it. Give me something I can work with as far as agency, background, name, social media, something I can research and...all will be good. If you can't do that....go to some other site! And don't come sniffing around here!
