Yesterday it was the Women vs USA. Today the Men. Amazing the great unification that sports can do Nationally. On another note Rainbow Flags are flying at City Halls and Legislatures across Canada. Hockey players are standing up for equal rights and stopping bullying. Russia, the host, is moving in the opposite direction. Amazingly Canada is doing exceptionally well. Attachments:

The only part of the Olympics that I watched was some of the hockey games. I was hoping the USA team would go all the way. Somehow they fell off the cliff. But you know what? Secretly, after all was said and done, I was kinda glad to see Canada win the Gold. Only because of my family background. Wasn't happy to see Tavares get hurt though. He's lost to my Islanders for the rest of the season. But the games are finally over; now I can watch my hockey again on a regular basis! YAY.

Martin St Louis, who was playing for Canada, is one of our Tampa Bay Lightning (Hockey) favorite sons. He was proud to show off his Medal.
