So last night, about 3am, my hubby and I are in bed fast asleep. We have a large Owl out back who lives in a dead tree. He decided to start saying Who !!!!! Who !!!! Who!!! He was Whoing at the top of his lungs. Then, all of a sudden, the ducks, who live in the water with Tick Tock, started screaming Quack !!! Quack !!! Quack !!!!. Then our cat started going meow !!! meow !!! meow !!! Then, some neighbors dog started barking. Woff !!! Woff !!! Woff !!! Then some unkown aniamals got into a fight and began screeching. Then something hit the window with a loud thud, almost breaking the glass, then it ran off into the woods. Stephen was pissed. He got up and turned on the flood lights, that we have in the back of the house, opened the kitchen door and yelled, "Shut the F**k up !!!!! Then there was total and complete silence. You could hear a pin drop. I'm sure they realize that next time, Stephen brings out the 9mm. !!! GEEZ! I thought you guys live in town. Sounds like "Old MacDonald's Farm" to me... with a quack quack here... and a moo moo there... and here a quack and there a moo and everywhere a cluck cluck... Old MacDonald had a farm! Bottom line... DON'T PISS OFF STEPHEN! He can be, um, ASSERTIVE! ;D (and good for him!) Bear ________________________

Give Stephen a Tylenol PM, that way he can sleep through all the ruckus. If the hoot owl and ducks are making noise, all is well. When they go silent something is out of sorts. We have several huge owls in the neighborhood, they are absolutely incredible animals. It startled me though the first time one landed on my chimney. You could hear the sound of it flapping it's wings and then the hooting coming right down the chimney. I went out by the pool (within the screen enclosure, cause maybe I'm a little chicken of at first unknown animal noises) and was surprised how big those guys are. I had the maglight on it and was watching it make the signature exorcist head spinning moves, but it didn't seem to be too concerned about me being there.

I have a better idea.....The next time the animals get together outside your house, have Stephen watch the following clip and learn to communicate with them instead of using profanity. Those animals are verrry sensitive to bad language......

Most people don't know this, but Florida is a very large state. It takes fourteen hours to drive from Key West to Pensacola !!! Florida LEGAL always tries to have events around the state because our members are found all over the state. We have had many events in Key West, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Sarasota, Brooksville and many points in between. Unlike some organizations, we are not a one department, one city group. Our members enjoy coming to our events and often travel sustantial distances to do so. Next year, we hope to bring the Florida LEGAL influence to even more cities around the sunshine state. We plan to reach out to all LGBT criminal justice professionals, no matter where they live in Florida, in an effort to support them and show them that they are not alone. To all Florida LEGAL members here on Bluepride, let me say thank you so much for your continued support. you have always been there for Florida LEGAL and Florida LEGAL will always be there for you.

Would you believe that my computer is still on the fritz? The guy who fixes it called me from Vienna. He will be back on January 10th. Stephen wants to wait for thim to come home to fix it. So, until then, I'm still using the one in the Venice Florida Library !!!! Oh well, what can you do. At least it gets me out of the house !!!

Hey Hscodale. The Tom of Finland library is in my house. I have an even larger Tom book that I'll be auctioning at the next Florida LEGAL retreat. I purchased them years ago and I'm glad I did. They are great things to auction off to get extra money for Florida LEGAL If you thought the book at the banquet was good, just wait because you haven't seen anything yet !!!

Oh well, I'm still sitting in the library and I guess I'll be stuck here for a few more days until our computer is up and running again.
