bhpd, I've got a buddy who is in Huntington (Not a cop though). I went through Charleston the last time I visited him. Though I did get stuck in that traffic jam for 6 hours when the hazmat semi crashed into another semi and spilled on the turnpike near the toll booth. Anyway, welcome to the group here. Feel free to holler at any of us if you want to.

There sure are! There have been many times that a good, professional dispatcher has helped cops get through a difficult situation and helped save their butts! Experience here. And when they coordinate vehicle pursuits and no one gets hurt, they're owed a great big thank you from the troops! I'm sure that goes across the board for EMS, PD, Fire and every other job!

There's a LOT of fun folks on our forum. Many are very sedate by nature but the rascals among us usually can get a smile out of 'em... and sometimes even a huge GUFFAW!

Bluepride made a world of difference in my life. I met a really good friend in thebear4u, Mark, a really nice guy. If it wasn't for this site we would never have met. Just wish I could have spent more time in New Orleans with the bear, a well fed bear is a happy bear and he was very content. Mark and I have very similar situations and its really good to have someone who understands to talk to, so thanks Bluepride for this website, it can be a life saver. Merry Christmas everyone and have a happy and safe New year!

Glad to here that, Jake. The "bear" has always shared an upbeat message here. In fact, we are hopefully going to be honored with Mark as our first guest of 2009 on www.blueprideradio.com. I hope I am not letting the news out too early, but I suggested it to Carroll and he ran with the idea! So I am pretty sure we will all get a chance to get to know him better on Jan. 11th. Welcome to our site. Blue Pride has helped a number of officers who've had no place to turn to until they found us. We've been a great help to many since we started in 2005.
