Careful there Jon, I'll have you know that I have the fireplace going right now because it is going down to 46 tonight, because all you yankees left the doors open! Tomorrow we are only going to reach a high of 67. My azalea's are just starting to bloom so this cold had better not screw it up! Plus we still have another month of strawberry season that we don't want hurt. Of course we are going back up to the upper 70's for Friday. Can't let the tan fade!

Yeah and when you get skin cancer from all your "winter" tanning, then you will wish lived in a yankee climate!

My other half and I just got back from the Swiss Alps and then later Paris, five days ago where on the plateau on Jungfrau (just under 12,000 feet elevation) it was -12 C. Needless to say, even though we had a rather cool day in Tampa today with a high of 65 F, I'm loving my Florida weather.

BURRRR! Reading about all these COLD temps and even sub-zero figures I'm seeing where many of our Blue Pride folk live, I am soooo glad to be visiting friends in Sarasota, Florida for the holidays.
It is cool here this morning but returning to a tolerable 75 tomorrow on Christmas eve and 78 on Christmas day. I think it has something to do with the sunny warmth that everyone feels when Carroll walks into the room! ;D

No, its x-mas with the family. Nothing "hot" about that at all. And I don't even have any buds around this area either.

OK, more than a year later and this thread is applicable again. It's 17 degrees right now. How is it where you are? If anyone posts any temperature over 70 degrees, I'm gonna brain ya! My toes are cold!
