Bear, THE SISTER? Oh my God, what the hell is wrong with those people. Did you also see the photo of the perps mother holding a sign in the protest rally? I don't see how she could have the nerve to even show her face. With two criminal children, she isn't exactly "Mother Of The Year." You're kind to say they are "Human Trash", I would say they are Human Waste. Yes. The same sister whose apartment is where the AK47 was stashed that her brother Lovelle used to murder the two SWAT officers... right after he had murdered the two motorcycle officers. One can only imagine what kind of adult the sister's 4-year-old daughter will turn out to be. As a counselor yourself, Carroll, you know that the foundations of one's basic value/attitude system and instilled mores are well set by age 4 or 5. Sure, with proper guidance and education, one can modify and shape the developing mind. However, I see NO positive role models or even one responsible adult around this 4 y.o. child. Grandma in a rally hating on the police isn't it. Bear ____________

I was able to catch the last twenty mintues of the live stream at work. I was compelled to watch even though, I was technically at work. It's difficult to put all my thoughts into mere words. The only bond I shared with these men is the badge. Yet, that simple bond, that one singular but all so significant aspect of our lives brings their trafic deaths to heart of me and each one of us who wear the badge. I grieve for the loss of such good men. I am angered by the senselesness and selfishness of this act of pure evil this warpped individual forced upon the families of these men and us in general. Today, I speak not of those who of the opposite perspective and hold us as the agents of oppression. No, today is not their day. Today, I am proud to be of the ranks who fight the good fight and pray so much more for the safety of each police officer. My fellow officers, you will and must reslove this event individually, for this assault was made upon each of us in a very distinct way. Yet, even though I did not know these brave men, I feel I am safe to believe that each of them would not want any of us to dwell on their passing but be inspired by their lives and their dedication to the good fight. They were Police Officers. Know my fellow officers, that in each of your strides to resolution, you have brothers and sisters here on this board and I pray in each of your lives, someone who will listen, support, or just to be with you and without a word spoken, can strengthen you to go on. Face the wind, strong and obstinate, face it, hold on to one another and go foward. One step at a time, go foward. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. BE SAFE Blu To Serve and To Protect

On March 21, 2009 — three years ago today — the Oakland Police Department lost four courageous brother officers, who fell to the gunfire of career criminal Lovelle Mixon. Their courage that day is as irrefutable as Mixon’s criminality. RIP.
